Chiara Bellucci

I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Business Economics at the University of the Balearic Islands (UIB). My main research interests are in industrial organization and international trade, with a focus on firm competition, multinationals, and supply chains.

My current research examines how M&A and common ownership strategies shape competition and firm performance. 

I hold a Ph.D. in Economics from the IMT School for Advanced Studies Lucca, Italy, where I am currently a guest scholar.

I previously worked at the Directorate for Economic and Fiscal Studies of the Italian Ministry of Economy and Finance and at the Economic Research and Statistics Division of the World Trade Organization.

I hold a Master's degree in Specialized Economic Analysis from the Barcelona School of Economics and a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Bocconi University.
